The BuyMyCover policy is designed for drivers who require immediate, short-term insurance cover in order to be able to drive in the United Kingdom; and to provide cover for a period of between 1 to 84 days against accident, fire or theft damage to their vehicle, where the value does not exceed £60,000, as well as their legal obligations or third party claims.
This product is not designed to provide cover if you intend to export a vehicle out of the UK and you will not be able to use this policy to recover a seized or impounded vehicle - the certificate of insurance is clearly endorsed to this effect.
We only deal with one insurance company for this product and are therefore unable to make a fair analysis of the market. You must therefore decide for yourself whether the policy is suitable for your needs.
